300 SECURE BIKE PARKINGS AT THE CYCLING TOURISM FAIR THANKS TO SHIMANO ITALIA
The Cycling Tourism Show will host the first “Temporary Mobility Hub” to encourage bicycle access to the event for all visitors.
On the occasion of the first edition of the Cycling Tourism Show, taking place at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan on March 12-13, 2022, Shimano Italia is committed to making it easier and safer for cyclists to attend the event dedicated to them.
The Temporary Mobility Hub will accommodate up to 300 bikes in a secure environment, offering, if needed, basic assistance services provided by the Shimano Service Center Effettobici in Milan.
This temporary installation, benefiting urban mobility, aligns with the creation of the Mobility Hub (bike parking, assistance space, changing rooms, lockers, showers) at Shimano Italia’s new Milan headquarters.
The Temporary Mobility Hub reflects Shimano Italia’s commitment to promoting cycling in daily life, creating a positive societal impact in line with the company’s philosophy:

The creation of the temporary mobility hub was managed by the Milan-based company Bikenomist, which developed a custom project based on a comparative evaluation of the highest European standards.

The Cycling Tourism Show is the first event in Italy dedicated to the knowledge and discovery of bicycle tourism. Over 50 exhibitors from Italy and Europe will present their offers tailored to cyclists.
